Equipment

  • Stand mixer

Ingredients

  • 1 cup honey
  • Optional flavorings like vanilla extract

Instructions

  • Add the honey to the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the whisk attachment. Beat on medium speed for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the honey turns pale in color and becomes light and fluffy in texture.
  • If you’d like to flavor it, add your choice of vanilla extract, cinnamon, or ground ginger once the honey is whipped, then mix for another minute until fully incorporated. Transfer to an airtight container and store at room temperature.

Notes

  • Ensure the honey is at room temperature before whipping. Cold honey can be too thick to whip properly.
  • Crystalized honey can be used for whipping. However, before whipping, place it in a warm water bath for a few minutes to dissolve the crystals.
  • A stand mixer with a whisk attachment is ideal for whipping honey. It allows for even aeration and a smooth, fluffy texture.
